1965 INTERNATIONAL HARVESTER SCOUT
The Scout was introduced by the International Harvester Company as
their entree into the multi-purpose sport-utility vehicle
marketplace. Design Engineer Ted Ornas designed the Scout to serve
many uses on the farm and in light-industrial application with it's
small, maneuverable, functional design. This 1965 example features
it's original 152 cubic inch displacement "slant-four-cylinder"
engine mated to the original three-speed manual transmission with a
two-speed transfer case. Both differentials have been refurbished
featuring rebuilt Warn lock-out front hubs. New whitewall tires and
vinyl upholstery complete the nostalgic, yet user-friendliness of
this cute Scout. $6995.
