Sold Here's a real 'barn-find' car just out of longtime southern California storage. This car was sold originally in sunny southern California and has lived there until we purchased it recently and had it shipped to us here in the Kansas City area.

A Little history on Standard Motor Cars... Standard Motors began building high-quality cars in Great Britain well before WWII and in the late 1930s purchased Triumph. After WWII, Standard soon resumed building Triumphs, but before they did, they offered the 4-8 as a 'drop-head' (convertible) coupe with room for 4 adults...this is one of the very few that remain as originally built for the US market with 'left-hand drive'. This car features a nice running flathead 4-cylinder engine backed by a smooth-shifting 4-speed manually-shifted transmission. The car features all solid sheetmetal, all bumpers are intact, straight, solid and ready to replate. All structural wood appears to be solid as are the genuine floorboards. It appeaers to have been repainted and reupholstered sometime in the late-1960s or early 1970s. This car just needs some TLC to be one of the very best and most unique showcarsto be found anywhere. Call today for an appointment to view this great little car!
